The HOBY Middlesex CLeW was a day full of energy, impact, and meaningful connections. Ambassadors kicked things off with a land acknowledgement, engaging icebreakers, and thoughtful table discussions that helped set the tone for leadership and reflection.

Our workshops – led by Lorissa Westlake, Shivani Vimal, and Emma Park – explored reconciliation, public speaking, and logistical leadership. Each session sparked conversation, inspired confidence, and challenged ambassadors to grow as leaders in their communities.

In the spirit of service, participants created period packs for local women’s shelters and wrote heartfelt letters to seniors in retirement homes. The room was filled with purpose, compassion, and teamwork.

With a delicious lunch from Burrito Boyz, lively cheers, and team-building games, the day was as fun as it was meaningful. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated volunteers, speakers, and every ambassador who brought their full selves to the experience. This is what community-driven leadership looks like!
